No. They got out of that market quite some time ago. They stopped being a standalone manufacturer in 1988, from which point, they basically marketed Volvo trucks under the White-GMC nameplate until the mid 1990s. Then they got out of that market, although they did manufacture Class 7 and 8 versions of the Top Kick until 2009.
Gm trucks are made all over America. Most of the plants have closed due to the economy but you can still find many of them open and running.
GMC does not make cars, only trucks and suvs. GM is the parent company over GMC, Chevy, Buick, Cadillac, etc. So far from my experience the trucks are solid, however I no experience with GM cars made after 1964.
GM mainly makes low and mid value sedans, minivans, hatchbacks, trucks, and sports cars.
No they are actually made in Detroit, Michigan. They did make some light trucks in Canada until May 2009 when the plant was closed.
"xtreme diesel parts are used on several makes including Jeep, GM, Ford, Dodge, and Volkswagen. They are also used on Big Rig Semi Trucks. They are even used on Motorhomes and RV's."
In GM trucks or new GM cars, the 8th digit of the VIN # is the Engine.
they are the same because they are both made by GM(General Motors)...it is also cheaper to make the same truck but put different emblems on it, than it is to make to totally different trucks.
It is an off road package for GM trucks
GMC, formerly GMC Trucks, is a division of the General Motors Company (GM).
No...the brand Oldsmobile was phased out of GM....
No
GM is General Motors. They make Chevrolets. Now if you are actually asking if GMC is better than Chevy the answer is no. The only difference in GMC trucks and Chevy trucks is trim. They are identical under the skin. This was not the case decades ago but today they are the same truck underneath.
