Contact the lien holder(bank) and inform them that you wish to surrender the vehicle
If the bank has an order from a judge to liquidate or surrender property to satisfy a judgment, then yes, they may.
park outside a the bank, put a skunk inside it and leave
Well, yes, there is. It is called the loan or finance agreement you signed when you got the loan for the vehicle. When you sign that, you give permission for the bank to repo the vehicle if you don't make the payments. Unless you are talking about a "Voluntary Surrender", if that is what you are talking about, just call your bank and they should have one.
I heard if you surrender your car back to the bank the loan is from, they will auction the car to get money back, if they DONT get the whole amount of what you OWE on the car... They will bill you the balance.T
surrender it to your State bank of india branch.
No
It doesn't sound like a bank's typical answer, you are not liable for the vehicle after the discharge of the bankruptcy, however since the bank still holds the title, they will probably write off the debt. You can request that they (the bank) put their intentions in writing, however I doubt that will happen. You may want to research different ways of getting a clear title from the BMV, it the bank truly wants nothing to do with the vehicle, you can go through the proper channels and if its not disputed, you can possibly end up with the title.
Not after you are approved. if you can't afford to pay, surrender it/
Why do you think the bank has to do anything? You signed a document filed with the court called "Statement of Intention" in which you said you were surrendering the motorcycle. You have to go to the bank and give them the keys and tell them where the vehicle is. They may direct you to take it to a specific location to surrender it. If they want to abandon the property, they have to do it in writing.
vehicle a/c debit bank loan a/c credit
In a loan where the vehicle is the collateral, it is registered, but if you do not keep up with your payments, the bank stakes their claim and reposseses it, so in a way, the bank owns it, and it is a rent-to-own vehicle.
