well the first thing is to remove the lower seat. It has two clips near the front of it . Remove the lower seat now. Next remove the side panel right above the back seat. Now you have to remove the bolts for the seat belts, it holds the back part of the seat in. move the back part of the seat up towards the back window. You should hear the seat come loose. Now when you put the seat back in don't forget to pull the seat belts back though.

First you have to remove 1/4" nut screws in the front of the bottom part of seat and remove. Then on the back part of seat there will be 2 1/2" (I think) bolts that also fasten the seat belts which will need removed. once you have done that push up on back part of seat and pull towards you. That's all you need to do.

To remove the back seat of a Skylark, reach into the area between the back and the seat and pull up on the seat. The back part of the seat is bolted in and will require a socket wrench to remove.

To remove the bottom part of the rear seat, lift up on the front of the seat and it will pop out of the latches. To remove the upper part of the back seat you have to remove the 15mm bolts and nuts securing the bottom brackets of the seat. There are two bolts, one on each side of the back bottom. and two nuts securing the seat belts and brackets holding the seat back. The next part is how I found it to be the easiest to get the top loose. lay down in the trunk on your back, grab the bottom of the seat back and while lifting use your elbows to push the top of the seat into the passenger compartment slightly. The top hooks will release and the seat will fall into the passenger compartment. An assistant really helps at this point.
