up your butt around the corner
Hello I am currantly rebuilding a 1985 Pontiac Grand Prix. I need the decal that is on the Harrison compressor. Thanks
You would do better looking on the compressor name tag than relying on an answer you`d get here.
Need more info like year, make and model.
Any refrigeration supplier. You`ll need the compressor info, not the unit info. There is a tag with a Model#,Serial# and B/M# along with the electrical characteristics of the compressor. Get that info and go, that is all you need. The problem is you will need to have someone with the proper equipment and credentials recover the refrigerant charge as you can`t just blow it anymore, also you will need a person with the proper Federal credentials to buy new the gas as the supply house cannot sell it to you.
Is the car a c,e,s class. Need to know what model
The Sears Roebuck model 106-151140 air compressor was typically manufactured in the late 1980s to early 1990s, making it approximately 30 to 40 years old as of 2023. To determine the exact age, you may need to check the serial number or any manufacturing date on the unit itself.
Air compressor for what purpose?
You will need a spring compressor for any strut installation job.
Checking the pressure of a fridge compressor is easy. Remove the compressor and give it a shake. After taking the compressor off it should make a sound while shaking that means itÕs still good if the compressor makes no sound that means it has went bad.
the effectiveness of the compressor will be low and the temperature at which the environment is cooled will reduce.
If that model was available without a/c, you will need to purchase the belt for a 95 town car w/out ac, and follow the appropriate belt routing diagram for that model.
You can bypass the a/c compressor on the 1989 cadillac fleetwood by simply using a smaller accessory belt. I have found that a 77 inch belt works perfectly. There is no need for a bypass pulley and you won't find one for this model anyway.
