Could be an electrical malfunction, somewhere, could be motor ECM issues, could be a bad solenoid on the switch, or it could be as simple as a blown fuse. You'd have to do a little more diagnosis before a definite answer can be given. Check to see if you can still bring it to high idle while sitting (with the tractor protection valve pulled out).
Then you start with the simplest thing first. IIRC, the FL Columbia has fuses and relays both under the dash panel on the passenger side, and some in the wall immediately behind the driver's door. The latter I believe are for the sleeper berth, so they should be irrelevant, though I can't guarantee this 100% without a wiring diagram for the CL120. Also check to see if your ECM is displaying any fault codes... if you have a Detroit 60 Series, you can read the codes off the dash, and call them in to any Freightliner/Detroit Diesel service shop, and they can interpret them for you. With the MBE4000, Cummins, and Caterpillar motors, you need to have the NexIQ box attached to read fault codes.
There's the Vehicle Speed Sensor... your cruise control is a matter of programming in the ECM.
To set cruise control on a Freightliner, first accelerate to your desired speed. Then, press the "Cruise" button, typically located on the steering wheel or dashboard. Once activated, press the "Set" button to lock in the current speed. To deactivate, you can either press the "Off" button or tap the brake pedal.
2004 sebring convertable cruise control not working - what to do?
There isn't a fuse.. it all goes through the engine ECM.
cruise control does not work when headlights are on
the cruise control is broken....
That goes through the engine ECM, and you'll need to have it diagnosed that way.
Start with checking the fuse.
Are you sure you need the fuse for the cruise control. My cruise control wasn't working, neither were my brake lights. All 7 bulbs were burnt out. When the brake lights were replaced the cruise control worked.
cruise control not working,u need to check the fuses also check the clutch safety switch as this also has to do with cruise control
My 2002 Olsmobile Intrique cruise control works some times when you set it, why?
It is possible that the traction control module is not working and may need replacing.
