The Mazda B2200 truck body did not change much, if at all between 1986 and 1993. There should be no differences in the shape of the engine compartment. -Kyrasis6 Owner of Mazdatruckin.com
A Mazda B2200 engine with carburetor has 85 horsepower, and with fuel-injection has 105 horsepower.
6x5.5"
Is very possible but it is a wate of time and money, I have B2200 and trust me the smallest engine that can manage the weight of that mini pick up is a 2.0L anything smaller is a waste, I tried with RX7 engine and it is not that reliable, unless is turbo and have to play with diferential ratios
d series or b series

Automatic:yes. Manual:no.
Yes, the 86-89 B2000 engine will bolt into the 86-93 B2200. There are two mounts that go from the engine to the transmission on either side, you'll need to transfer these from the B2200 engine onto the B2000 engine. You will also need to keep the lower radiator hose from the B2000. Mazdatrucking.com has additional information on engine swaps as well as forums.

All mazda b series with a b2000 or b2200 are a NON interference engine. So in short if your timing belt broke it will not damage the engine.
My 1991 b2200 is a non-interference engine. Timing belt broke and I just replaced it. No damage and runs smooth.
Yes it will fit..... almost any rwd engine fits in a 240sx that's why I love them
