I own a 1961 Shasta and trust me,I couldn't find the VIN for quite some time. I found the answer online and now I know! The metal frame that comes out from under the trailer and forms a "V" shape otherwise known as the "tongue" will have stamped on the outside surface the VIN. If it's been painted, you may have to scrape the paint down to see it. If you're standing in front of the trailer,it'll be on the left side of the "V" or tongue. At least that's where mine is. If you still can't find it,E-mail me and I'll send you pictures of where it is. fherrmann@rochester.rr.com
I don't have a Shasta, but I found mine on a sticker on the inside of one of the cabinets.

Shasta specializes in making large RVs which are designed to accommodate a large group of passengers. Shasta trailers are much larger than other common camping trailers, and therefore the prices of Shasta RVs can be expensive. The latest Shasta trailers include the Freeport, Revere, and Oasis models. Most Shasta campers are quite heavy, with a GVWR rating of over 6,000 pounds. If you are going to haul Shasta trailers, make sure that your vehicle can handle such a heavy towing load. By contrast, other smaller camping trailers have a GVWR of several thousand pounds. Each Shasta RV trailer is available in more than ten floor plans, which include different combinations of beds, sofas, kitchens, entertainment console, toilet, and other major amenities.

The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on Fleetwood campers is typically located in a few common areas. You can usually find it on the driver's side of the camper, either on a sticker or metal plate near the entry door, or on the frame of the trailer. Additionally, it may be found inside the cabinet or on the rear of the vehicle. Always refer to the owner’s manual for specific details related to your model.
Shasta campers are the typical campers that you see when you think of the ones that are round on one end and square on the other. They don't have a lot of room, but they offer all of the amenities that you would find in modern campers. They are great for placing in your yard if you need somewhere to work, or you can place them on a camp site in your town when you want to go away for a weekend. When you get the camper, make sure it has the awning over the door and that any of the areas that have screens are not torn.
