I own a 1961 Shasta and trust me,I couldn't find the VIN for quite some time. I found the answer online and now I know! The metal frame that comes out from under the trailer and forms a "V" shape otherwise known as the "tongue" will have stamped on the outside surface the VIN. If it's been painted, you may have to scrape the paint down to see it. If you're standing in front of the trailer,it'll be on the left side of the "V" or tongue. At least that's where mine is. If you still can't find it,E-mail me and I'll send you pictures of where it is. fherrmann@rochester.rr.comI don't have a Shasta, but I found mine on a sticker on the inside of one of the cabinets.
