Allis Chalmers tractors as a marketing technique. It helps to quickly identify the brand and serves as advertising to others who see it. It is similar to the all green of JOHN DEERe or all yellow of Caterpillar.
I do not know of any names that under the Simplicitity name. They did for a time manufactur the Allis Chalmers machines, though the Allis' had their own transmissions and sheet metal. I think allis made a garden tractor for them that was described as "cream and red" that was an "odd ball" in the late 1970's or early 1980's that used all different belts. The brand is now owned by Briggs.
Most of the tractors come in red, but there are also orange ones available. The colors differ based on the specific tractor model.

No, Steiner tractors are only offered in red. They do come in a variety of models and offer many attachments for different jobs.
Tractors are many different colors. Red, blue, green, orange. Your probably thinking of heavy equipment, wich is often yellow in color for visibility reasons.
It is not, but in a sense a recommended safety standard. Aircraft used for training were done up in Yellow and Black ( Like Piper Cubs) for safety- visibility reasons. as for Cranes, they are not all Yellow. Different makes have different ( colors of Arm) so to speak. Manitowoc- Red, Allis-Chalmers (* rare) - Persian Orange, and so on. Some construction companies have their own livery styles as do railroads and trucking companies- so the paint schemes may vary. there is no legal requirement they all be Yellow- but it tends towards safety- heads-Up!
John Deere tractors are most commonly green with yellow wheels. Other tractors were from time-to-time painted customly yellow or orange for customers such as state highway departments, but nowadays most ag tractors are green and yellow and most construction equipment is yellow.
Tractors are made which run on various types of fuels. For heavy tractors, such as those for farm use, diesel would be the most commonplace - non-taxable red dyed off-road diesel, most often. Smaller tractors may use petrol/unleaded gasoline (such as lawn tractors), and some even run on LPG.
All of their tanks, jets, cannons, AKs, shells, grenades, trucks, AAA, SAMs, torpedo boats, tractors, missiles, and training came from the USSR or Red China.
Farmall tractors are traditionally red in color as red tends to traditionally be an eye catching, attention getting color. It is very easy to notice anything, when it is painted bright red. Farmall understood the importance of a bright color which would in turn, create positive (and free) advertising. Keep in mind, farmers also love the bright red because when they leave there tractor out on acres of land..if the weather is gross outside, or snowing, they have a higher shot of spotting it when it is a bright color.
