quantity discount and trade discount are the same thing. it is used when the dealer wants to sell in bulk. while cash discount is given when he wants prompt payment.
I don't think so, you have to buy an ipod touch, you can sell an ipod nano to get the money, but cannot trade it in, unless someone else who has a touch wants to trade (probably not)
issues in which a party interested trading on asset cannot do it because nobody in the market wants to trade that asset.
Us currency has a stable backing is unlikely to suddenly lose its value and is acceptable to nearly any one that wants to trade.

You can't. Take it to Precision Tune or the Ford Dealer to get it done. They have codes you cannot know. Who wants car thieves running around with programming codes??!!
ATV's aren't issued with "titles" that I'm aware of, a bill of sale should be sufficient. Is it a dealer that you are trading with or an individual?
I suppose you could, but if the dealer is honest (and wants to stay out of trouble with the law), you'll get clobbered for the cost of installing a new one before it can be re-sold (about $600 off the trade-in value of the car). I won't speculate on selling it to a private individual.
