Yes. Too much time on the computer without a break can damage your eyes as well as cause nasty headaches. Poor posture while on the computer can also cause skeletel/muscular disorders. Take a 10 minute break away from your PC screen every hour.

∙ 13y agoComputers cant destroy your eyes but you can get blind if you watch or go on it to often like me my name is Drishti on my mac you can reduce the brightness so its better because I go on it too often hope this information was useful

When this happens, while you're in class you may not be able to see the whiteboard from a distance because your eyes are used to looking at things closely. But it's not only while you're in class, this can happen at anytime, like while driving, you may not be able to see signs from a distance. This is why it is strongly important to not look at the computer screen all day and get some nice exercise.
