You can make a Jacob's ladder with a light transformer. There are many designs and ways to build this apparatus.
A fluorescent light bulb contains a gas which produces UV light when it comes in contact with electricity. Contrary to a normal light bulb this does not create any heat and is far more energy efficient.
I think for creating flashlight The gas used in fluorescent lamps is argon. Neon is used for red lamps.
Green computing refers to IT or computing with the least negative impact on the environment. Newer monitors and displays use light-emitting diodes (LEDs) instead of fluorescent bulbs which reduce the amount of electricity used by the device.
Solar street lights are raised light sources which are powered by solar panels generally mounted on the lighting structure or integrated into the pole itself. The solar panels charge a rechargeable battery, which powers a fluorescent or LED lamp during the night. Most solar lights turn on and turn off automatically by sensing outdoor light using solar panel voltage. Solar streetlights are designed to work throughout the night. Many can stay lit for more than one night if the sun is not in the sky for an extended period of time.
Higher the fequency , higher the speed. Similarly, freq is inversely proportional to the the flux , higher the freq lower the flux requirement hence lower the winding req. which will reduce the weight ( this is necessary req. in operation of Aeroplane) of the winding The higher frequency allows a lighter transformer. Doubling the frequency allows the transformer's iron core to be half the weight. So 400 Hz allows light transformers (and motors) to be used.
Apart from no, your question has no simple answer. Fluorescent lamps need a few kV to start them and have a 90V drop when running. All of that is provided by the "gear" needed to run a fluorescent lamp. In a compact fluorescent (CFL), the gear is inside the cap.
Well.. the difference is that fluorescent light isn't natural and natural light isn't fluorescent . its not rocket science (:
Anything that excites the gas in a fluorescent will make it light. Static electricity from the carpet will cause compact fluorescent to light.
Which state helps produce light in fluorescent lightbulbs?

light bulb
No it does not
It is an artificial light that works by using electricity to ionize Mercury into vapor. Because the light produced is more ultraviolet, the inside of the tube is coated with white phosphors to make the light more visible to the human eye. Fluorescent lights are more efficient than incandescent bulbs, and they are now most commonly in the form of CFL (compact fluorescent light) bulbs which screw into ordinary incandescent light sockets. Even the traditional fluorescent fixtures are more efficient these days than over 20 years ago, since there are now solid state ballasts which don't use a bulky transformer.
Fluorescent light replacement is easy as replacing light bulbs. Slowly twist the fluorescent until the lead of each end aligned to the path of ejection/insertion. Or just simply stretch both end of fluorescent ballast then remove/insert the fluorescent light.
EEdmund Germer (90% sure) made the first fluorescent light bulb
The Fluorescent Light Glistens Off Your Head was created in 2005.
If you mean which other element is used in a fluorescent light along with argon then the answer is xenon.
