No. A hundred years ago was 1913 and no they didn't. The car had just been put into production, the airplane invented in 1903, the telephone was still fairly new, and there were still people without electricity. The first TV was made in 1924, but not sold until 1947. People used radios for news, music, and entertainment all through the 1930's and 40's. The first computer was a government computer in 1947 that filled a room with the machinery it took to run it. It used magnetic tape for memory and key punch cards. The silcone chip hadn't been invented yet. There was no internet (1971 when it was invented by two MIT grad students) and desk top computers weren't sold until the late 1970's. The Apple 2E was an early home computer with 6g memory. The cell phone was invented by Dr. Martin Cooper of Motorola in 1974 and sold for government use. It wasn't until 1984 that they were sold to public. In 1913 the phonograph was a gramophone. There were no CD's, no tape, no recording devices, and no DVD's. Movies were silent and not in color. The first movie with sound was in 1928 and it was called the Great Train Robbery. The first color movie was in 1932 and that was the Wizard of OZ and to have color in it they had to hand color the film. No, in 1913 the world was a different place than it is today.

Why does technology make people antisocial?

Not technology, but the way that technology is being marketed. Television has had a dramatic impact on the amount of time that people spend together outside of work, and the demise of many clubs can probably be laid at the feet of the network executives who put keeping their audiance glued to set every night above everything else. The internet and computers are actually bringing more social interaction to people's lives, with chat rooms, message boards, and online gaming. It can be hard to realize that most people never traveled more than 5 miles from their place of birth until just the last 100 years or so. 5 miles is the distance that the average person can walk and still return in one day. And many people lived in small villages, or an isolated farms, so they did not have very active social lives. Probably America in the 1950's and 60's was the epitomy of social interaction, and that was made possible by the technology of the automobile.

Is it possible for a computer to have 100GB?

For hard drive space, it is not only possible, but is the norm for today's computers. Desktop computers do not have the physical space for the sticks of RAM that would be required for 100 GB's worth. Many servers do, however.

Would someone living 100 years ago have known the word internet?

No. According to history, the first computer was invented in WWI or WWII, and it was used to decipher codes sent by the Germans to their double agents in Britain. WWI started in 1914, and 100 years ago now it would have been 1912, which was close but not enough.
