They are much easier to use.
Software used on computers has also changed and they now provide many more facilities which can be used more easily.
They changed partly because of demand but largely because of technological advances. Home computers can now be produced for the equivalent of maybe 200-300 dollars. These are much more powerful than computers which 50 years ago might have cost tens of thousands of dollars.

Although people are aware of this, most of them ignore it, or as simple as that they refuse to accept that that kind of problem can present in them. If we don't do anything soon computers will become a serious problem to us, not just because of the damage they cause us, but to the damage they are doing to the new generations who are about to come.

As a conclusion computers are really powerful objects used to help people in their daily basis, but we humans need to know how to use them in a way that they don't affect our life, in a way that we can get used to live with them without having any kind of serious problem in a near future.
