There are two main ways to do this: 1. If your wireless router supports WDS, get another WDS-compatible router, and configure it to connect to your main router. 2. If your router is not WDS-compatible, you can pick up a wireless range extender for about $20-$30.
I have a PC, laptop and xbox running and i have a modem and router downstairs with a wire leading upstairs then a netgear high speed hub splitting my connection 3 ways to my PC etc , but i don't think u need a hub if your router has multiple ethernet slots.
If the instructions say that if you are using a modem you may need to manually connect to the Internet. What this means is that you might have to connect one end of an Ethernet cable into the modem and the other end into the back of your device.

Can I hook up two wireless routers on the same cable line?
It would connect to the serial port interface of a router.
You plug your wireless into dsl router (you'll need to configure your router), and then configure your computer to the wirelessJust get a lan cable which is usually ships with wireless routers. Connect one end of the cable in wireless router port which is called wan or intertet. Another end of the cable connect to your modem. Then restart the modem and the router. Sometimes you might need to change settings for internet coneection and DHCP server. But usually it's not required.
To connect to the Internet without Wi-Fi on your Xbox 360, you will need an Ethernet cable. Simple connect one end of the cable to the rear of the console and the other end to the router.
connect it with a crossover cable connect both end to same type port either two gigabit port or two fast ehternet port
There are a few different types of cables that can be used to connect routers, but the most common is the Ethernet cable. This is a cable that has RJ-45 connectors on each end, and it can be used to connect devices that are within 100 meters of each other.
A router is only to distribute a source of digital data among several end users. It cannot increase connectivity speed. For home use, the most likely use is to connect several computers to an Internet connection, whether that be dial-up, DSL or cable.
Your Ethernet cable should have an RJ-45 modular connector on each end of the cable. Connect one plug in the RJ-45 slot/connector in the back of the desktop unit, and connect the other end to a switch, hub, or router.
A rollover cable is used in a networking environment where a router/switch is to be configured from a computer. One end is wired one way but on the other it is reversed. You would typically use one end into a serial port on a PC and the other into the console port of the switch/router. It is common within cisco configurations. Hope I helped
There are three main types of router edges: core, distribution, and access. The core edge connects to the backbone network, the distribution edge connects different parts of the network, and the access edge connects end devices like computers and phones. Each edge plays a role in network performance and security by controlling traffic flow, managing bandwidth, and enforcing security policies. The core edge ensures fast data transfer, the distribution edge balances traffic, and the access edge controls user access and protects against threats.
Possibly the machine on the other end is not programmed to respond to this port; or the port is blocked by an intermediate device, such as a router.
Your wireless adapter probably worked better with the old router. Or the new router is a lower end N router and the old one was a high end G
I know how to hook up a router you just have to Step 1:put the internet wire on the modem and the router Step 2: look at your both routers and connect the internet wire to the COMPUTER 1
