AutoCAD does not support parabolas. You would need to download an AutoLISP routine or approximate the parabola with it's geometric equation and a spline. The downside to an AutoLISP routine is that you do not know how good it is and it might not play nice with other commands.

How do you draw a parabola using autocad?

To draw a parabola in AutoCAD, you can use the "SPLINE" command for a more freeform approach or the "POLYLINE" command with specific points plotted to create the desired shape. Start by determining the vertex and focus of the parabola, then calculate key points along the curve. Input these points in the command line or use the mouse to place them in the drawing area. Finally, adjust the spline or polyline to smooth out the curve as needed.
