Autocad 2000 and earlier.
Maybe yes, maybe no. Depends on if there's a compatible port on the computer in which to plug the monitor in, the graphics card that's installed and the type of monitor may or may not be compatible with an older OS. But chances are that yes, you probably would be able to get some basic working functionality out of it.
Windows 95 OSR2, Windows 98, and Windows Me include an updated version of the FAT file system. This updated version is called FAT32. The FAT32 file system allows for a default cluster size as small as 4 KB, and includes support for EIDE hard disk sizes larger than 2 gigabytes
Windows 9x is a generic term referring to a series of Microsoft Windows computer operating systems produced from 1995 to 2000, which were based on the Windows 95 kernel and its underlying foundation of MS-DOS,[4] both of which were updated in subsequent versions. The first version in the 9x series was Windows 95, which was succeeded by Windows 98 and then Windows Me, which was the third and last version of Windows on the 9x line, until the series was superseded by Windows XP.[5]

Yes, Windows 98 can be used to access the 'net. However it has problems interacting with most high speed connections and would most likely require a Dial Up type modem and ISP.
No. Office 98 is a Mac version.
Don't think so. Couldn't get mine to work.
Yes.
Do you mean the games say "compatible with windows 98?" and you have Windows XP? Games are backwards compatible. Meaning, if the games say "windows 98", windows 95 is ok (anything before windows 98 will work). But it is not forward compatible--Windows 2000, windows xp, etc. will not work. does this answer?
No, Office XP was the last version which could be installed on Windows 98/Me. Office 2003 requires Windows 2000 or a later OS.
Windows works with IBM machines, though Windows '98 is incredibly obsolete at this time.
The last version of Windows Media Player that will run on Windows 98 is WMP9. WinAmp 5.35 is the last version of WinAmp to support Windows 98. The last version of VLC to support Windows 98 (officially) is 0.8.6. The latest version of Media Player Classic still supports Windows 98.
Many applications and games written for or compatible with Windows 98 will run on Windows Vista.
Yes the claim is that vista is compatible with programs designed for windows 98 and vice versa.
Support for Windows 98 was dropped after the 2.0 line. Firefox 3.0 and higher are not compatible.
Neither one is a particular computer (they are manufacturers, not model names), and neither has a product lineup solely compatible or incompatible with Windows 98. IBM made several workstations with PowerPC processors that obviously cannot run Windows 98, and newer Macs have Intel processors that can run Windows 98, though the hardware is not fully compatible.
All versions of Microsoft Office (with the exception of those created for Macinthoshes) up to and including Office XP are compatible with Windows 98.
