How much voltages does a 4 pin molex from a psu in a computer connector have?

Keep in mind I'm not a computer repair guy or at least not officially. The four pin molex connector from a power supply unit that you use to plug into hard drives, and other drives has a 5 volt wire and a 12 volt wire. The two black ones are ground or negative. The red wire is 5 volts DC, the yellow is 12 volts DC.

How many pins are on a typical FireWire connector?

The number of connectors will depend on which version of this serial bus interface you are considering. It will have either 4, 6 or 9 circuits (pins) depending on which "flavor" of the FireWire standard you are applying. Use the link below to review the standards and look at some pictures.

What is a mono phone cable?

Usually when people talk about a phone cable or a phono cable they mean a 1/4" cable. Mono mean that it only caries one signal with it (a hot signal and a ground, Or + and - ). Thus it has two pins on it. A stereo cable would have three pins so it could have two separate sounds (one for each ear). They call them phone cables or phono cables because i believe they used to use them in the old phone switchboards in the past. So get a 1/4" male mono cable.

Will PC2-5300s-555-12-e3 DDR2 memory interchange with pc2-5300u-555-12-e3?

I don't think they will. One may be for laptops and the other for desktops. You will have to check the pins, since the 240-pin package is for desktops and the 200-pin package is for laptops. When you choose memory, you need to make sure that it is the correct type (plain SDRAM, DDR, DDR 2, DDR 3), the correct number of pins (since laptop and desktop memory are different), and a compatible speed (you can usually use faster than required, though you might have to mess in CMOS). Most of the time, you'd use unbuffered, non-ECC memory.

Does a hard drive and a CD-ROM use the same type of power connector?

Some of them do. Your CD-ROM and hard drive can have molex power connector, or/and SATA power connecter. I think SCSI interface uses molex power connectors too.
