What is the problem if the compiter shut down after 2 min?

Well a couple of things usually will cause a computer to shutdown in that amount of time, first your power supply, or a temp sensor, thus a overheating cpu. To complicate matters Windows xp (before sp1) had issues with the network stack that could cause an overflow, and cause the computer to shutdown. These are the main things that may cause a computer to just shutdown, as vaug as that is. If you in need of more help, please send an email at aerowize @ yahoo dot com -Rob

Yes it does. During the boot process the first thing the computer does is execute a small program from the 'boot block' which starts a whole series of programs to complete start-up. When you shutdown, again, another series of programs are executed to save all current settings before turning the power off.

If you connect a power adaptor before turning on a computer what will happen?

If the power adapter isn't plugged in before the computer is powered on, then the computer will not power on. The power supply provides power to the rest of the computer (which allows it to boot). If the power supply doesn't get power, then the rest of the computer doesn't get power. This doesn't apply to a laptop if it has a charge stored in the battery.
