RS-232 is a Recommeded Standard (RS) for serial communications. It can be both input and output, or just one or the other. There are RS-232 devices called DCE (for Data Communications Equipment) like a printer, modem, mouse, joystick, monitor. There are RS-232 devices called DTE (for Data Terminal Equipment) like a notebook computer or tower. Two computers may talk to each other over an RS-232 link. The "boss" computer would be the DTE; the "slave" computer would be the DCE. {In practice, nobody really uses RS-232 for intra-computer linking in home or office, but it might be used for fairly long connections on, say, an antenna farm if fiber optics is unaffordable.}
Yes on a modern computer you will need a USB to 9 pin RS232 converter or previously use the LPT parallel port.
Neither, it is not classified under input or output. It has its own identity
I expect you mean "Is Card reader/writer input or output?". If this is so, it is both an input and output device. Whenever you are trying to categorize a device as Input or Output, think of how it looks from the computer.If the computer is transmitting data to it, it is an Output device.If the computer is receiving data from it, it is an Input device.
A 'byte' is a unit of storage - not an input or output.
output cuz it got swag
is an omr and input or output device?

There are many possible answers. One of them is Output = 6 - Input.
What is the difference between output and input?If you sing into a microphone you can hear the microphone's output.Sound coming out of the power amp to the speakers.That is the input of the loudspeaker.Do you see the difference?Your voice is the microphone's input. Its output is electrical impulses that are input to the amplifier. The amplified impulses are the output of the amplifier and input to the speaker. Sound waves are output of the speaker and input to your ears.
