What are the disadvantages of clubmark?

it is very expensive and also the little clubs might not have the facilites to then meet the demands of the clubmark scheme. they might also not be able to pay the highly qulaified coaches enough money this wopuld then mean that they would have to stay with the normal coaches and they also might not be able to meet the demands of the clubmark award for the club. If the clubs has had many complaints filed agaisnt it for the coaches bad behaviour to the players and athetes then they will not reveive the clubmark award when they put in for it even of everything else is good enough because this could mean the coaches and other people that run the club might be abusive and disrespectful to the players and atheltes that play for the club.

What is W3C?

W3C stands for: World Wide Web Consortium. They make guidelines for the internet and the way it works. In 1994, five years after inventing the World Wide Web, Sir Tim Berners-Lee founded the World Wide Web Consortium(W3C) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)The mission of W3C is: "To lead the World Wide Web to its full potential by developing protocols and guidelines that ensure long-term growth for the Web." Note, these are "guidelines" not rules - yet.Check your website to see if you pass or fail . Enter your URL :http://validator.w3.org/Being W3C compliant helps ensure that the look and feel of your website remains very similar when accessed from any browser from different platforms like Mac or Unix/Linux or even when accessed from handheld devices like PDAs or cell phones. In addition, compliance ensures accessibility for the disabled. More and more countries are adopting this as law. Recently damages were awarded to a blind user when he filed a lawsuit against the owners of a website he found to be inaccessible. This will become commonplace. So after checking your website did you pass or fail ? Most likely you didn't pass, less than 7% of all websites are W3C compliant. Go back to your developer and ask him to code to the guidelines and don't accept anything less. The take away: The guidelines will become rules. The rules will become law. Whether you have a website now or are planning on getting one soon, make W3C compliance a must.To learn more reach out to jeff@cookee.biz or check on http://www.cookee.biz

What does 10100000 mean in the ToS byte?

First 6 bits are DSCP bits and the last 2 are ECN bits (ECN = Explicit Congestion Notification) The above answer is right when we look at these bits from Diffserv perspective..... Let me clear what it means interms of Intserv perspective and what are the network models... Basically there are two types of network models...1)Intserv - Integrated services 2)Diffserv-Differentiated Services When the Pkt is in intserv region/domain these 8 bits refers to TOS byte : Type of Service Filed. Here the first 3 field are precedence bits and the next 4 bits are TOS bits and the Last bit is MBZ(Must Be Zero) In the Question above 10100000 : the First 3 PRECEDENCE bits (101) refers to critic/ecp as shown the below table 111 - Network Control 110 - Internetwork Control 101 - CRITIC/ECP 100 - Flash Override 011 - Flash 010 - Immediate 001 - Priority 000 - Routine The Next 4 bits describes following states : Bit 3: 0 = Normal Delay, 1 = Low Delay. Bits 4: 0 = Normal Throughput, 1 = High Throughput. Bits 5: 0 = Normal Reliability, 1 = High Reliability Following is the semantics for the bits 3-6 of the IPv4 TOS octet: 1000 -- minimize delay 0100 -- maximize throughput 0010 -- maximize reliability 0001 -- minimize monetary cost 0000 -- normal service So in the above quest bits 3-6 refers to 0000 which means normal service ..and the last bits as mentioned above is always MBZ. W.r.t Diffserv Domain the interpretation of these fields is already explained in the First answer i.e,. DSCP bits and ECN bits ...

How large is the Internet?

That is sort of like asking how big is the Universe. There are many different ways to measure the size of the internet for starters. Do you mean large as in file size, number of web pages, or other methods. If you mean web pages that is probably a mostly calculable number. However file size becomes nearly impossible to figure out because there are many different ways to measure the size of what is on the internet. Do you count multiple hostings of the same file, do you count provate data that is internet accessible but not public. In fact that last point cuts to the heart of the universe analogy. There is quite a bit of the internet ( I have read estimates that over 50%) that is completely "hidden" from the public. It is not on Google or any other search engine and is used privately between businesses or even between individuals or an individual. In other words there is a HUGE amount of size of the internet that, like the univere is hidden to us in all but the most obscure ways. I would assume ( I am not an IT professional) that there are round-about ways of measuring some of this private data. One estimate puts the internet easily at a exabyte or 1024 petabytes or 1024^2 Terabytes. To think of it easier; if you filled a room that was 8' X 10' X 8' (celing) you could fit about 450 or so hard drives in there. Assuming you used even 2 TB hard drives you would still need over 1000 of those rooms filed to " download the internet". 1024 petabytes or 1024^2 Terabytes is obviously over 500,000 2 tb hard drives. In my above example you can only fit 450,000 2 TB hard drives in 1,000 of those rooms. I will say that I only estimated the size of a hard drive to be 3.5'' X 5" X 1'' which gives you 17.5'' of Volume per hard drive. Other estimates put the file size of the World Wide Web as an entire internet at almost a Yottabyte (Which is 1024 Zettabytes, which is 1024 Exabytes mentioned in the above example). To put this in a more simpiler term; it would take nearly 11 trillion years for you to download a Yottabyte using the fastest residential internet connection known today.
