No it is not. In what passes for news, stories are told that are designed to get peoples attention and not necessarily news. It is called sensationalizm. Only put things out there that will shock or affect peoples emotions. It is a ratings game. Who can get the most people to watch, listen or read. Many, but not all, media giants have an agenda where they want to push their issues and will only report what makes their concerns look good or are for their cause. Good news is news isn't it? Why don't we see more good news? Because they know that more people will be shocked by bad news and it will hold their attention better. Sad isn't it? We have to be discerning in regards to the information that we hear and see.
