What it contains varies, some hardware, it merely contains various files each with a set of instructions, other pieces of hardware e.g. laptops; the partition contains folders with copies of the drivers and pre-installed programs. Some computers have a third partition called the back_up partition to do this, just leaving the factory instructions in the recovery partition.
Use the computer file management system. You can organize files in directories, folders, and sub-folders.
You use folders to clean up your desktop or move stuff around in groups. Every item stored on your PC, whether it is a document, picture, song, game or whatever, is a file. Folders help organize these files, so that for each particular program there can be one folder that contains all the files it needs in one place.

It allows you to run programs by typing in commands or by browsing through the folders on your computer to find the programs you want to start. You can start any program you want on your computer that way, although it is easier to start them off a menu. However, people with more knowledge of computers can use Run to do some more technical things and fix problems on computers. Most computers now use Windows and people start programs by using the mouse and menus. Before Windows, people would start programs by typing in commands. That can still be done now on any computer and using Run is one way of doing that. You do need to know what you are doing in order to do it properly, so if you don't it is best to use the computer in the way you know how to. Later you may learn how to use Run properly.

System32 is needed by your computer. Removing will disable your computer. Unless you are very confident in paring out unwanted folders in System32, it's best to leave it alone. It's not always easy to figure out what programs use what files in System32. Sometimes more than one program will access a folder.
