A child process is a process that was created by a parent process. The child process usually helps the parent process accomplish some task independently of the parent.
In object-oriented programming, a parent class is a class that is extended by another class, known as a child class. A grandparent class, on the other hand, is a class that is higher up in the inheritance hierarchy and is not directly extended by the child class. The key difference is that a parent class is directly related to the child class, while a grandparent class is further up the inheritance chain.
MDI stands for Multiple Document Interface. It is an interface where an application can present multiple documents or views to the user in a way that aggregates (or collects) them all under the parent application. Microsoft Word is an example of an MDI application; there are many others. Often, each MDI child is constrained to being visible only within the child region of the parent window. Often, the parent window's menu is changed in context with whichever child has focus at that moment in time.
The fork system call is used to create new child process which followed his parent process
A binary search tree is a data structure where each node has at most two children, and the left child is smaller than the parent while the right child is larger. It is used for efficient searching, insertion, and deletion of elements. A heap is a complete binary tree where each node is greater than or equal to its children (max heap) or less than or equal to its children (min heap). It is used for priority queue operations like finding the maximum or minimum element quickly. The key differences between a binary search tree and a heap are: Binary search trees maintain a specific order of elements based on their values, while heaps maintain a specific hierarchical structure based on the relationship between parent and child nodes. Binary search trees are used for efficient searching and sorting operations, while heaps are used for priority queue operations. In a binary search tree, the left child is smaller than the parent and the right child is larger, while in a heap, the parent is greater than or equal to its children (max heap) or less than or equal to its children (min heap).
This is depends on a number of things; many people have different opinions. In my opinion, no. Someone should only need a mobile phone if they need to call someone. Since a parent basically run their lives they don't need to contact their parents. You might be thinking 'But what if they're in an emergency?'. Well, really a ten year old should not really be left alone to get into an emergency. A responsible adult should be looking after a young child not at home. Also, a child needs to be taught the value of money and what a mobile costs before they could be trusted to use a mobile. I've heard many times of peoples children spending hundreds of dollars on one month of calls, usually to the surprise and dismay of parents. And this is with children much older than ten. However, if a child was to be given a phone, a prepaid phone is the best bet. A parent would be able to set an amount they are prepared to pay each month for a child's calls. This way if a child runs out of credit, they will have to wait until they receive more credit from their parents. This will teach them to use a phone a little more responsibly and a parent wont have to worry about big bills.
