What is the difference between output and result?

Process produce results. Some of these are tangible and measurable at the time they are generated. These we call Process Outputs. There are other results that are not measurable until long after the outputs have been delivered and often long after they have been used. These can be considered to be the impact of the process on its surroundings An output of a process may have a detrimental affect on the environment. Satisfaction of either customers or employees is an impact not an output. However, processes can only be designed to deliver outputs because the outputs are measured before they emerge from the process, whereas, impacts arise long after the process has delivered its outputs and therefore cannot be used to control process performance. Any attempt to do so would induce an erratic performance. In reviewing the performance of a process we can note whether the outputs and the impacts were as expected. What we are doing is reviewing the process outcomes therefore we can consider outcomes to be outputs + impacts. Results can therefore be considered to be a general term because outputs are results, impacts are results and outcomes are results. So when you ask what results does a process produce the answer can be in terms of its outputs, impacts or outcomes. But when you ask what results does a process deliver the answer should strictly be in terms of its outputs. For more information see Quality Management Essentials

What is the Input Process Output of a car?

The input process output of a car identifies its' inputs, outputs, and processing. In some cases it has a storage component.

What are packages in java environment?

A package is used to group related classes. Each class in the group is identified by the "package" keyword, followed by some keyword for the group.

What is the difference between profiling and debugging?

Profiling is about executing a program and finding out how much time it spends in each routine. The goal of profiling is often finding slow routines in a program and optimizing them. Profiling is done on working code. Debugging is about finding code that is not working, i.e. has some kind of defect. The program is known to have a defect because some set of inputs causes a set of outputs that are known to be wrong. Debugging is the process of finding the source of the defect in the code and fixing that location and any other downstream locations so that the set of inputs is correctly rendered into the set of outputs.

What are the Process states?

A process which is Executed by the Process have various States, the State of the Process is also called as the Status of the process, The Status includes whether the Process has Executed or Whether the process is Waiting for Some input and output from the user and whether the Process is Waiting for the CPU to Run the Program after the Completion of the Process. The various States of the Process are as Followings:-1) New State : When a user request for a Service from the System , then the System will first initialize the process or the System will call it an initial Process . So Every new Operation which is Requested to the System is known as the New Born Process.2) Running State : When the Process is Running under the CPU, or When the Program is Executed by the CPU , then this is called as the Running process and when a process is Running then this will also provides us Some Outputs on the Screen.3) Waiting : When a Process is Waiting for Some Input and Output Operations then this is called as the Waiting State. And in this process is not under the Execution instead the Process is Stored out of Memory and when the user will provide the input then this will Again be on ready State.4) Ready State : When the Process is Ready to Execute but he is waiting for the CPU to Execute then this is called as the Ready State. After the Completion of the Input and outputs the Process will be on Ready State means the Process will Wait for the Processor to Execute.5) Terminated State : After the Completion of the Process , the Process will be Automatically terminated by the CPU . So this is also called as the Terminated State of the Process. After Executing the Whole Process the Processor will Also deallocate the Memory which is allocated to the Process. So this is called as the Terminated Process.
