What are the advantages and disadvantages of nowadays and the past?

Obvious advantages of the term nowadays, probably would be increased useability and insight to anything known and done by mankind, in terms of prAatical envisioning and foresight..

Most obvious disadvantage of nowadays must be the above added complexity to anything we know and have to interact with, in terms of decisionmaking, future consequence predictability, ethics, and other direct or indirect influence of used knowledge.

Advantages of the past.. well, turn everything upside down of the above.

Less knowledge about anything known to mankind might have had led to easier living overall, as in the facts was so limited to none of very few, that anything thinkable for the mind would have had less complexity added to it.

Disadvantages to the past, is the same with switched meaning; Anything thinkable would eventually also have had less predictability and foresight into anything influencing mankind, but be it easier interaction as in an 'advantage', or being a tougher interaction as in an 'disadvantage', must be up the eyes that look.
