All numbers between 1.0.0.0 to 254.255.255.255 are the ranges of all internet address.
Except for for a few numbers reserved for local networks and General Broadcasts.

Names such as 'www.Website.com' as matched with one of these numbers, a separate name per number.

Note that 'www.website.com' is NOT the same name as 'website.com'. Though the computer is usually set up to redirect you to the Web Server if you use the URL with out the WWW prefix.

WWW is used for the World Wide Web which is a a protocol used on the internet and contacts a 'web server' on the computer server.

What is the type of server that assigns IP addresses to computers on a network?

DHCP allows a computer to join an IP-based network without having a pre-configured IP address. Most home and business routers have a built in DHCP server that can be configured to do this.
