The Weibull Modulus is related to the distribution of flaws in a brittle specimen. It is important to note that it isn't relate to the size of the flaws.

To find the Weibull Modulus, many samples of the same material are tested, in tension, to failure. If the flaws are evenly distributed throughout the specimen, the data from the the tests will show little statistical scatter and result in a high value of the Weibull Modulus.

Conversely, if the flaws are unevenly distributed causing the test data to differ greatly from sample to sample (greater flaws means more opportunities for stress concentrations at those flaws, causing a lower failure stresses) then there will be large statistical scatter in the test data, and the Weibull Modulus will be measured as a lower number.

What is the difference between high density and low density?

Density, in terms of matters indicate the mass per unit volume, for example oil will be more dense than water. For electronics high density indicates more closely packed with components. For example a high density board will have many more components than a simple circuit board.

Define Busy waiting?

"Busy waiting" is the act of actively waiting for some condition to change. In programming microcontrollers, one might want to wait for a pin to become high or low before continuing with the program. A "busy waiting loop" in C would look like this: ... while(PIN1 != HIGH) ; ... This essentially does nothing but check the value of "PIN1" time after time, waiting for it to become "HIGH". Now, if PIN1 were to become "HIGH", the processor "breaks out" of this busy-waiting loop and continues with the program.

What does AKSU14K mean?

AKSU14K refers to a specific series of high-performance, 14-kilowatt (14kW) power amplifiers produced by a manufacturer, typically used in various applications such as telecommunications, broadcasting, or industrial processes. The "AKSU" part of the name may indicate the product line or technology used in the amplifier. This designation helps users identify the amplifier's specifications and capabilities.

What does it mean if you have a high value for youngs modulus 8333.3 compared to a low value 1200?

Young's modulus is stress/strain. So if the modulus is high, it means that the stress value is greater compare to that of the material where the modulus is low. or in other words, the strain is very less compared to that of the material having low Young's modulus. So it tells that, if a material has high Young's modulus, the material requires more load for deformation of shape (within elastic limit).

What is the known value of Young Modulus for Spider silk?

The Young's modulus of spider silk is 1 E10 Newton's per square meter. Comparatively, the modulus of high tensile steel is only 2 E11 Newton's per square meter.

What is ment by high resistance and low resistance on a meter?

On a multimeter, a high resistance would indicate a high Ohmic value and a low resistance would indicate a low Ohmic value. Specific values would be relative to device you are measuring.

What is the modulus of elasticity of water?

Pure de-aired water has a bulk modulus equal to approximately 2.2 GPa. There is a common misconception that fluids are totally incompressible, however as can be seen from the above this is not true (if it were, the bulk modulus would be infinitely high). It is reasonable to state that water is highly resistant to compression however. It should also be noted that the presence of dissolved gasses in water can significantly reduce this value so consider carefully the application or system being modelled before choosing an elastic modulus for water or any other fluid.
