Usually if you have a bootable CD in your CD drive it will automatically boot, if not you will need to change your BIOS settings so it boots from CD before attempting to boot from your hard drive. To do so on start up it says "Press Del to enter setup" so press delete. It should be in "Boot configuration" or "Advanced BIOS" and there will be options "First boot device" and "Second boot device" and so on, go to first press enter and then click across until it says CD drive. Then go to second and change it to what first used to be. Tada, save and exit BIOS and on restart you'll boot from the CD if there is one in there.
You will fly to the nearest flight master. When you exit you will be in the exact same place.
There are 2 ways of resetting your motherboard to factory settings. 1) In bios there is an option to Load Setup Defaults in the Exit menu. 2) There is a jumper on the motherboard that will also clear the bois. It will normally be 3 pin labled CLRCT or something similar. Please refer to the manual for more details. IF YOU ARE AT ALL UNSURE ABOUT THIS THEN REFER TO AN EXPERT.
yes but it invloves using the BIOS. Do this at own risk! Shut down your computer then the first screen you see enter setup (usually f8) then use the arrow keys to navigate to boot device tab. Highlight the boot device you want press enter then esc then highlight save and exit and hit enter. Then once the computer restarts the computer should boot with the device you selected.

Yes it is compatible. Only thing is need driver before loading the xp please note down the name of driver. This is you can go device manager note each and every driver number and name carefully and search in Internet. Once you get driver. Than you can start loading XP.. Another point It will not load window xp. It will say no hard drive/disk found. so follow this instruction. Enter the BIOS setup. - Search for Serial ATA (SATA) settings and select it. - Change the setting from AHCI to Compatibility. - Save changes and exit BIOS setup. - Install Windows XP normally All the best.
