The obvious answer would be the Power Supply Unit (PSU). This starts the computer and without it nothing can work. On the other hand if you have a faulty mother board or RAM, the computer would switch on but nothing would be shown on the screen. The PSU is found on the highest part of the tower. Also check the the switch (if it has) is switched on, and that the power supply cable (the 3 pin one) works.
An option that you have for computer hardware recycling is to first purge your hardware of any personal information. You can then donate the hardware to a charity for those that are less fortunate.
In IBM PC compatible computers, the basic input/output system (BIOS), also known as the System BIOS or ROM BIOS , is a de facto standard defining a firmware interface. When in computing, a device driver or software driver is a computer program allowing higher-level computer programs to interact with a hardware device.
The BIOS (Basic Input-Output System) loads a ROM (Read-Only Memory; a chip that stores permanent bootup instructions) that performs a POST (Power-On Self-Test) when the computer is first powered on, or when the CPU (Central Processing Unit) is soft reset via a triple fault or an untrapped reset command through the keyboard port (by sending the value 254 to the hardware port 100). The POST checks to make sure that there is system memory, and usually at least one drive device (disk or hard drive), and all the other various parts that make up the core functionality of the computer.

Startup BIOS first checks all the essential hardware components to make sure they're working and displays its progress on-screen.
Fault coordination is the process of ensuring that protective devices in an electrical system are coordinated such that the device nearest to the fault disconnects first, effectively isolating the faulted section and ensuring minimal disruption to the rest of the system. This process helps to improve the reliability and selectivity of the protection system.
This is basically the same question as which came first, the Chicken or the Egg. Its argumentative.
abacus
there are two types of os based on your hardware machine. first is nos and second is cos base.
Well, I would assume so. You were driving the car, and you were in control. If I am right, you can't blame your driving school for the accident. So in my personal opinion, yes, it is your fault! :[
The core part of an operating system is typically the kernel, which manages system resources, hardware communication, and process management. The first part to be loaded during the boot process is the bootloader, which initializes the system hardware and loads the kernel into memory to start the operating system. Once the kernel is loaded, it takes over control and manages the overall operation of the system.

You have to first diagnose the fault to figure out WHAT needs to be repaired before you can repair it.
I assume you mean "When was the first operating system introduced?" Seems to be in the 1950s. See the link below for a very detailed page.
Have to be hardware. How could you write software if there were no hardware to write it on?
If your plugins are not shown in your system means it is not supported by your system 1)first find if the plugin software is installed in your system 2) If installed means fault in your walkman only first check it out.
