WHAT two port network having a 6 dB loss will give?

an output power which is one - quarter of the input power

1.92 x 10to the power of 6 X 3.2 x 10 to the power OS -11?

Hi, If the base raised to a power is the same (here they are both 10) then you mulitply the two numbers in front of the power i.e. 1.92 x 3.2 = 6.144 and then you add the powers i.e 10 to the power 6 x 10 to the power 11 = 10 to the power 6 + 11 = 10 to the power 17 or 10E+17 in scientific notation. Then you write them both next to each other i.e the answer is 6.144 x 10 to the power 17 or 6.144 E+17 see link below for a good explanation: http://www.regentsprep.org/Regents/Math/polymult/rule_pmu.htm

What is the decibel loss of a signal that loses half its power during the course of transmission?

When the power (energy) is dropped to the value of 50 percent, the decibel loss is 3 dB, but the voltage is dropped to the value of 70.1 percent. Power drop to 50 % means -3 dB; that is 70.1 % voltage drop. Power drop to 25 % means -6 dB; that is 50 % voltage drop.

How long should a computer power cord last?

It really depends on the computer model. I think what ur trying to ask is how long does the battery last, 6 to 8 hrs I think.

Why do you need a power supply?

Power supplies are need by many electronic devices for several reasons. Most devices need one or more DC voltages. Only AC power is available at a common household outlet.Power supplies, among other things, usually must convert AC power to DC power.AC = Alternating CurrentDC = Direct CurrentVDC = Volts of Direct CurrentComputers, for example, need a power supply to convert 120 VAC line power to 6 VDC, 9 VDC and possibly 12 VDC. You will understand this more fully once you get further into the study of things like trigonometry, the calculus, basic circuit design, etc.
