AMCap software can be downloaded from various sites on the Internet. The most reliable one of these is probably CNET because that is a very well known and established site.
I bought a dazzle dvc 100. When i record with amcap i have sound during recording but afterwards when i watch back what i recorded there is no sound. Theres nothing wrong with the cables as I have other capture software which records sound but the quality is awful. Thanks.
Normally a capture card and a program called "AmCap", for transferring etc.
Use VirtualDub, it can enhance audio and picture quality. Watch the video in the Related Links Section! You can get it to 1080p! and also AMcap
Just Google for the latest free amcap software or free manycam software. Both work with this camera. The ManyCam software allows zooming for closeups to capture the zoom as well as real size image, also ManyCam allows for greater than 640x480 video, but the frames per second will be less than 30. There is no need for a driver with Windows systems, as this camera is plug and play. J.
If it is the cheap sonix webcam (from eBuyer etc.) 6029 CIF XP driver that you need then search for "COMS_CH_XP_060928.zip". I got a good copy from "opendrivers". I have a copy of this zip file if you want: tonyatnajac.co.uk Underneath the hood, the camera appears to be an asus cam (at least according to Windows XP Control Panel). Note that the "6029 CIF" links from many driver download sites eventually lead to downloading a setup.exe, supposedly for 6029 CIF but that didn't seem to work, installing AMCAP software instead.
