IP Address consists of 32 binary digits. Class A IP addresses are the ones with the 8 most significant bits of the form (0xxxxxx) -where x represents the net ID- and the rest of the IP is host ID.

A class IP address usually used in cases where the number of networks is relatively low with very large number of hosts.
