It is good that we have freedom on the internet, we can put what we want on the internet through social media, we can also create articles and express our thoughts through blogs and also record a video and post it on video hosting sites. Although they are rules on some websites, other websites are so loose in their rules that some explicit content are readily available. Because we have this freedom we can do anything...good or bad.
Information technology have helped us by making connectivity faster and easier, information are available anywhere and it helped us do things a lot quicker than before. On the same note, because of faster connectivity, cyber-crimes have become faster too, and because of this freedom many people are not careful of the people they share their information too which leads to other problems and crimes. Another downside of technology is people choose to interact through social media where their personality is covered and hidden and choose not to interact socially and physically.
Information technology has a long way to go, more improvements and innovation are still on the way, and with these many things going on its up to us to use technology for the good or the bad.
