1. Pay Per use: users pay per use rather than fixed cost. You pay per hour rate for usage of resources on the cloud rather than buying a server upfront.

2. Resource Sharing: The same hardware resources are shared with multiple customers thus resources are shared and pooled to provide maximum utilization.
