Pipe is identified by NB and thickness is defined by Schedule whereas Tube is
identified by OD.

Fittings receive the male joint.
The current supplied to the filament for heating is defined as the Filament current. whereas When the filament is heated to a high temperature, the electrons are emitted. The flow of electrons form Cathode to anode is the tube Current.
what is the wight of 100 mm 18 guage ms sqire tube
**** you.......... pls somebody answer Double pipe heat exchanger consists of two concentric pipes of different diameters. One pipe is for hot fluid and another is for cold fluid. Both may have same flow direction(COCURRENT) and opposite direction(COUNTERCURRENT). Shell and tube heat exchanger consists of a shell in which large number of parallel tubes are present. One fluid hot or cold flow in shell and other hot or cold flow in the tubes. Also in case of shell & tube(S&T) the hot fluid will have more turbulence than in double pipe heat exchanger (HE) since there are no of tubes within a shell the area for convective heat transfer is considerably increased. so these are much more preferredTherefore the rate of heat transfer is greater in shell and tube because large surface area and enough contacting time
For a given outer diameter, the solid shaft is stronger, but it weighs more. For a given weight, the hollow shaft is stronger because it has a bigger diameter.due to less weight & less bending moment..............the resultant bending moment for a solid pipe is much larger than for a hollow one because of their weight difference
the first amplifier was made in the year 1909. this was the audio amplifier of vacuum tube type.
Tube is measured by outside diameter, pipe is measured by inside diameter.
Pressure rises in the tube.
The main difference between tube and pipe arises while considering the standard dimensions. The nominal sizes for pipes and tubes are determined differently. For pipes, the ID or Internal Dimension is the pipe size and for tubes the OD or Outer Dimension is considered the tube size.
Pipe n tube are same in shape etc. BUT only difference is Pipe is used for Transferring Material (Gas, Liquid etc.) AND where it is used for Heat Exchanging purpose , It is called TUBE.
A hose is usually made of plastic or rubber. A pipe, on a motor vehicle is made of metal, steel, copper , galvanised. A tube is also made of metal ,but has a much thinner wall . (ie the difference between the outer diameter and the inner diameter)
Weldolet has a Bevelled end to butt weld the pipe whereas in sockolet the pipe/tube goes inside it and there it is fillet welded.

NB = inside diameter of the tube. OD = outside diameter of the tube.
Tube and pipe are both used for conveying liquids or gases under pressure. They differ in how they are sized and their rigidity. A conduit is mainly used to protect and route electrical wiring.
bore of the pipe is the internal diameter of pipe but the nominal diameter of pipe is the dia of a circle which is draw through a point which is situates at exactly half of the thickness of pipe or we can say that (outer dia of pipe- thickness of pipe )=nominal bore of pipe.
Hydraulic fittings are components that enables connecting hoses and steel tube between the various components (pumps, valves, hydraulic motors, etc.) in a hydraulic system.
The schedule value refers to the thickness of the wall of the pipe; the bigger the number (schedule) the bigger the wall thickness is of the pipe. The thickness is relative to the diameter of the tube/pipe an the application it is being used in.
