I mean, seriously. The social impact of the internet is much more severe than the technological advances. The Internet changes the way we communicate, the way we present ourselves to our peers, the way we conduct our daily business (e.g. shopping, etc), the way we socialize, the way we conduct business.

Therefore, I argue that the the Internet is most directly responsible for changing everything about us.
