The largest computer network in use today is the internet. There are many millions of computers connected at any point in time. No other network in the world can compare to the unimaginably massive size of the Internet.

∙ 13y agoAs of 2008 the largest was the Navy/Marine Corps Intranet. Which services over 330,000 computers.
The Australian NSW Department of Education and Trainingis also a large contender with over 300,000 laptops and 150,000 desktop computers connected to the one centrally managed network.
As enterpise networks do not reveal actual numbers it is hard to determine the largest private (managed) computer network in the world. Large tech companies such as Google, Microsoft and the like do not reveal numbers of their internal networks.

You can share a USB modem internet to other computers on the network by simply creating a wireless network with the comp where the modem is connected and then connecting the other computers to the network via the wireless network that you created.
