•What is the physical address (the MAC address) of the NIC (or network adapter) for this connection?
MAC address :)
Network adapter
it is a MAC Media acces control each network adapter on you adapter has a uniquie number (like a serila number) assigned to it by the manufactor.
The UAA, or Universally Administered Address, is the most commonly used type of MAC address. This address is assigned to the network adapter when it is manufactured. The first three octets define the manufacturer, while the second three octets vary and identify the individual adapter. All network adapter manufacturers have their own code, called the Organizationally Unique Identifier (OUI).

It looks like you have a network with static ip addresses. You have set up manually an ip address for your network adapter. Just go in the properties of the adapter and put an ip address from the same subnet as other users are using in the network.
Make sure that you are using a correct ip address. IP address for your router you can find in network properties of your network adapter when you are connected to the wireless network.
Network adapter
In computer networking, a node refers to a connection point. It has two types of addresses, a network address and a physical address.

You can use either bridged connection that allows direct access for VM to network adapter. Or you can use NAT configuration. Using Virtual Network Manager make sure that NAT is configured to access Internet through the physical network adapter.
You need to order the network adapter to it can connect to internet connection.
Try resetting your network adapter and see if that helps, otherwise, try refreshing your I.P. Address.
You need to connect VMs to internal NAT (should be configured with physical adapter to access physical network). While within NAT VMs are going to have different IP addresses, within physical network (your local network) its IP address is going to be the same.
There is no physical address.
In the properties of your network adapter.
