It is a PIXEL
In digital imaging, a pixel is a single point in a raster image, or the smallest addressable screen element in a display device; it is the smallest unit of picture that can be represented or controlled
The handles that you cannot hold in your hand are the little squares at the edges and corners of a graphic on the computer screen. The handle can be moved with the mouse pointer to re-size the graphic.

A widget is a screen graphic or icon. A file widget, also known as a shortcut, is an icon containing a link to a file. Clicking it causes the file to open.
The brightness setting is usually hardware. If you have a PC with a seperate monitor, the brightness settings will be on the monitor, sometimes as an individual button or in the menu settings. If you have a laptop with a built-in display, the brightness setting is usually changed either with software supplied by the manufacturer, or by shortcut keys on the keyboard. For example on my Toshiba laptop I can change the brightness with a specific button on the case for that purpose, or using the "Fn+F6/Fn+F7" shortcuts, or by using the mouse to select the feature from the onscreen menu. On my PC I use the "Menu" and arrow buttons on my screen to change it. Most handheld devices like tablets and mobile phones also have brightness settings, they will be under the "settings" menu on the device although you can usually install a widget onto the device to make changing the setting easier to do. Hope this helps!
Hold down the Fn key (next to the CTRL key) - and press either F6 or F7 to change the brightness. Release both keys when you have the desired level. The screen will retain the level until you want to change it again.
A TV screen works by using pixels that emit light to create images and videos. These pixels are arranged in a grid and change color and brightness to form the desired picture. The screen is illuminated by a backlight, and the colors and brightness are controlled by electronic signals from the device playing the content.
The smallest dot on a screen is a pixel
Your screen might not support brightness. If you are on a desktop PC or using a monitor try the buttons on the front to alter screen brightness

Lenovo has bad screen brightness. I have Lenovo G480 the screen is not bright even on power plug with maximum brightness setting. I should test the screen brightness before buy it. I have my old Acer laptop the screen is superb. After all Lenovo is a purely China brand...
The process for accurately measuring screen brightness in electronic devices involves using a light meter to measure the luminance of the screen in nits. Nits are a unit of measurement for brightness. The light meter is placed perpendicular to the screen and the measurement is taken in a dark room to minimize external light interference. The screen brightness can then be adjusted based on the measured value to ensure accurate and consistent display brightness.
Setting->Options->Brightness then you set the brightness
Some laptops have a default setting which alters the brightness of the screen based on the lux of its immediate environment. This can usually be disabled in the BIOS. Sometimes the laptop has serval Power manager setting, the screen change brightness in the different setting, when useing battery, when using adapter , the brightness change.
