The mobile node communicates with a similar agent on the user's home network, known as home agent, giving the home agent the care-of-addressof the mobile node; the care of address identifies the foreign agent's location.
Ethernet address is really not a good term to use. I think you mean a MAC address. A MAC address is given to any device that accesses the internet. Such devices include WiFi cards, modems, and routers. These are only used by networks that devices connect to, and not by websites. They can be used for filtering and identifying devices on a network.Ip (Internet Protocol) addresses are assigned to networks (one per network) by an ISP (Internet Service Provider) such as Comcast. These are sent to everything you interact with online, so that your network, rather than your computer, is identified. Now there are two kinds of Ip addresses: internal and external. Internal are used by your network to identify each device that connects to it. External Ip's are assigned by your ISP to identify you to the world. I explained the difference more in-depth in another answer, which is right here:What_is_the_difference_between_an_Ip_address_and_a_http_address
Our bodies have different types of tissues that are used to connect all of our different parts.Bones are connected to other bones by special tissues called "ligaments." But when bones are connected to muscles, the special tissues are called "tendons."
External devices which are attached to the computer are called "peripherals."
Every computer on the Internet is assigned a unique IP (Internet Protocol) address that works like a return address on an envelope or caller ID on a phone. When a request for information is sent across the web, your computer's IP address is attached to that request. The receiving web server then directs the appropriate files to be sent back to the computer that originated the request.
A media access control address (MAC address) is a unique identifier assigned to network interfaces for communications on the physical network segment. Everything attached to any computer network has a permanent MAC address that moves with the hardware no matter where it is connected.IP address is the current interface address for your local system to the larger public internet. The IP address can be STATIC (permanently assigned) or DYNAMIC (changes every time you connect to the internet). The alphabetic names are for humans. They are translated to the xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx format for the computers to use. When you type in the name of a website the name is looked up by your browser. The MAC address is for hardware. The IP address is for communication on the internet.
