The interface is where independent units such as software and hardware and connect, such as via a computer monitor. When two or more separate components of a computer system share information, it is an interface. Touchscreen computers are able to both send as well as receive information via the interface.
Different CPUs communicate in different ways. Intel processors (Pentiums, Core2, etc) communicate to the chipset using the Front Side Bus. AMD processors communicate to the chipset using Hyper Transport.

This would depend on the type and model of computer. Generally, on a desktop computer, the power button will be on the front of the tower. Sometimes it can be on the side of the tower if not on the front. If it is an all-in-one computer, such as the imac, it may be on the monitor itself (possibly back or front). If you are using a laptop, it can often be found at the top right just above the keyboard. some older laptops have the button on either the side or front of the laptop.

The mouse is a pointing and clicking device. The pointing is simply the x and y location plotted on the screen or display. A click down on the button will start this process. Some web pages have javascript embedded on them to watch(listen) for the mouse to move and click. The middle wheel of most of todays computer mouse is designed to scroll and or zoom.
it should be under the passenger side dash boared either against the firewall or on the side of the cab

If you ever open a computer mouse with a scroll wheel, there is a possibility that the spring that supports the scroll wheel will fall out. That can be frustrating and confusing. Usually, the coil part of the spring goes on the shaft of the mouse wheel. Often, the shaft is longer on that side to make room for the spring. There should be places for the projections to go on the same side as the longer part of the shaft goes. It may take a bit of trial and error until you figure it out.
I'm guessing because they needed to design something that a hand can easily hold. It makes it possible to support the palm of your hand while allowing you to select things on the screen by clicking either side of the mouse. I think they named it a mouse because it's kind of shaped like mouse' body.
To left hand click on a mac you can change your mouse preferences. Go to System preferences, then click 'Keyboard and Mouse'. You can then change one side of the mouse to a left click like any other Windows mouse. Also you can press control while clicking which gives you options like left click on a Windows computer does.
