(This applies if you are using most versions of windows that handle it)
If you click on "Lock this Computer" Windows hides all of the windows, and the taskbar so that they cannot be accessed, and puts up a window asking for a username and password, if you type in the currently logged on account, then it opens it back up just how you left it, but if you type in an admin pasword, it logs you off and goes to the welcome screen/login screen.
depends on which o.s(operating system example linux, xp, vista and so on...) you are running

Your maker of the computer has nothing to do with the operating system. Windows is windows, and it does not matter what computer its in, it does not care. Rt click on the taskbar and choose which toolbar you want or don't want. You can lock the taskbar or unlock it, its in the menu when you rt click on it. But you can't lock a toolbar, only add it or remove it.
