You want about 7megs or higher. But you should probably just talk to your ISP and explain the situation and they should sort you out. Alot of Internet Cafes have software that locks the computer when in not on use and when a customer goes to it, a timer starts and shows them how long they have being on and how much its going to cost. Aswell as this the software is supposed to act as some sort of security. However this security is extremely weak, Im not going to name them but I was able to install a keylogger & sniff traffic with very little inconvience on 4 different internet cafe software packages. To be quite honest, I would see about getting a programmer to make a simple timer system which also calulates cost - and this means it can be personalised for your cafe. Then forget about getting a network engineer to build your new network. Get a security professional to do it. Some may even charge less then a network engineer, simply because designing and building a small network will be well past child's play and they will will see it as a good way to earn a couple of hundred bucks for 2 hours work some Sunday. Just make sure you pay cash. The security professional should set you up with some good software. I can almost guarantee you that most security professionals will have lots of cracked software in their toolkits.. and will know whats good and whats not good. Personally, (I have worked in security for about 4 years) I have only met a handful of security experts who don't use torrents or don't hand out cracked programs every now and then. As for the rest, between your programmer and security expert they will explain anything else you need to know or any other questions you may have.
