No, Blu-Ray is not a media providing service like YouTube or iTunes. Blu-Ray is more like the next DVD. It is a different type of formating that allows data to be written tighter, taking up less space on the disc. This allows for much more data to be stored on each disk. It also has the benifit that it allows for high quality images. It will store all of the information in a High Definition format.
It's primary function in consumer electronics is to store and transfer more data than a traditional DVD could.

That depends on what you're going to use the microphone for, if it's talking to people at TeamSpeak, Ventrilo or Skype then you should buy a headset with a microphone made for it. (USB headsets are lovely) If it's for singing and making music then you should buy some real stuff.
The capabilities of a personal computer will depend on what type and how big the hard drive is. Most personal computers are able to run music, movies, and games without any problems.

I prefer to touch my music. It takes a lot of time to organize my music collection. So I will always prefer going to a music store. But my music collection is not that large and I can buy only best sellers from a music store. Also, I would rather buy from a store and be able to take a physical product home with me, than buy from a store which isnt able to deliver my music in a timely manner.
you should be able to use your old memory stick in order to download music
Buy from your local video/dvd/bluray shop... you can almost always find a one piece movie.
The best BluRay Players are Sony BDP-S590. You are able to stream video from the streaming service from Netflix, Pandora, Vudu, YouTube, Crackle, Amazon Instant and Hulu Plus.

You should be able to by it anywhere. I don't think that there is a problem traveling with music you bought.
You probably won't be able to convince your parents to let you buy explicit music. You can have them listen to the music first and have them approve the songs they think are least objectionable.
Beacaus bluray is newer and they think everybody has a bluray player... eventually it will come on dvd.
