Well, it largely depends on your skills as a user. If you have grown accustomed to either program set then I would say stay where you are, but if you are choosing between the two to start learning I would say jump to 2007. Both are easy to use, both tend to hide the features a little here and there, but most of the highly used features are at your fingertips in 2007.
