Try Nvidia's 9 series (like geforce 9200 or 9800 for gamers) they also came out with a heavy duty card. geforce 350 to handle the modern day games. But cost 500 bucks.
I've tried it with games such as COD5 and others and can say 8400 is not as powerful but looks better 7600 can handle more so is better for games
dawn of war II
Yes you can use x16 PCI Express video cards on your D915GAV motherboard. I've the same motherboard & I'm using Nvidia GeForce 7300GT PCI Express. You can install all types of latest PCI Expresses on it. Here are the names of some great PCI Express graphics cards of Nvidia: Nvidia Geforce 9800GTX Nvidia Geforce 8800GTX Nvidia Geforce 7800GTX These PCI Express graphics Cards are great for playing games! I suggest you to buy Nvidia Geforce 8800GTX Nvidia Geforce 9800GTX is the greatest PCI Express but it is very costly. If your budget is limited then you can buy Nvidia Geforce 7800GTX Please dont try Nvidia Geforce 6 series PCI Express: it is very old. It supports DDR1 type RAM not DDR2 type RAM. Best of luck.
No, most cards require at least a Geforce 8 series or better.
As it was introduced by nVidia in early 2003, the GeForce 5200 will not play new games at satisfactory performance levels, if it is supported by a given game to begin with.
this is the consumer level graphics cards from the manufacturer Nvidia. These are meant for running games and normal, everyday applications like the internet. The other line nvidia makes is called the Quadro series which is a workstation call graphics card. these are made for doing complex calculations like 3D modeling
No.
The GeForce series, developed by NVIDIA, generally offers superior performance compared to the G31, which is an older integrated graphics chipset from Intel. GeForce graphics cards are designed for gaming and high-performance tasks, providing better frame rates and visual quality. In contrast, the G31 is more suited for basic computing tasks and older games. For demanding applications and modern gaming, GeForce is the better choice.
NVIDIA GeForce 7300LE has been suggested as a higly affective program that works very well.
You can but its going to be really bad and slow. I have the geforce 8600gt and it is sluggish. You'll have to make sure to have at least 2-3g ram and a good processor.
I have a Nvidia GeForce FX5500 256MB 128Bit AGP and i can play: Source Engine Games(Half-Life 2, Counter Strike: Source Team Fortress 2)(Low-Medium Settings) Unreal Tournament 2003/2004 (Medium Settings) I think call of duty 2 will run on your card. They are more examples on games that can run on your card online/
