Android, being open source allows apps to be installed from external sources. However, you cannot transfer apps from one platform to another.
iOS and Apple block their appstore and licenses and apps bought cannot be transferred over to a duplicate app on Android.

You can download the app for free on the Apple marketplace if you have an iPhone, you should be able to search for it from the app search list. If you have an Android, you have the option of downloading it on your PC and syncing it, or just downloading it free from the Android marketplace.
