It depends. If someone you live with has an iPod or whatever. If you want some of their songs that you like you can just click the song you want and drag it to your ipod. You can do this without having to pay even though someone else has it on their ipod. You can get song from a CD instead of buying on iTunes store. But i find that very hard.
