Edius only works with the Windows operating system so will not run on Mac OS X. If you have a Mac with an Intel processor (any recent one) then you can install Windows on the Mac and then run Edius. Alternatives that will work with Mac OS X are Apple's Final Cut Pro or Adobe's Premiere.

The installer should be on the DVD
It will install on most Mac computers with an intel processor doesn't matter what model of intel. It just requires a Mac built pretty much after 2006. Will not work on a power series such as a g3-5
Civilization 5 is powered through the Steam system so you will need to install Steam and create an account to install and run the game. (See links below)
Simcity 5 will be coming out for the Mac on 29 August 2013. However, the release date might be delayed.

Virtual Skipper 5 only works with the Windows operating system and will not work with Mac OS X. Recent Macs with an Intel processor can run Windows (See links below) and then Virtual Skipper 5 can be used.
1) make sure your mac has a dvd drive 2) put the disk in the drive 3) windows setup will come up. click through the screens that come while specifying exactly what you want. 4) Wait for installation to finish 5) Reboot and remove optical media 6) Install the drivers for your computer model from apples website. 7) Done
Yes, Norton has a Mac version of their software but you are wasting your money and slowing your Mac down if you install their software. There has never been a real world virus that has infected a Mac. Use common sense and be careful what you download and install and you will be fine. Been running mine for 5 years with no security software installed. You do not need it.
yes
I don't know that anyone has ever actually tried doing so, but it should be possible. Here is basically what you would need to do: 1. Plug the hard drive you want to install Mac OS 8.6 on into your computer. 2. Download WinRawrite (link in Related links section) and make an "image" of the drive. 3. Download and install SheepShaver, a Mac emulator. You will need a copy of Mac OS 8.6 and a Mac ROM file. For legal reasons, i cannot give you a download link to these if you don't have them. 4. When setting up SheepShaver, use the image file you made of your hard drive as the hard disk image. 5. Install Mac OS 8.6 inside SheepShaver. 6. Close SheepShaver. 7. Use WinRawrite to write the image back to the hard drive.
